Calgary Spring Runoff

As it's spring runoff time once again, I found my YYC flood analysis from last year and thought it could be fun to revisit again this year. Luckily, we're not in for anything near the same as 2013... Looking at snowpack data in 2013, despite the severity of the flooding, it could have been a lot worse.

All the data used in this is from public sources, and the analysis is available as a github repository: yycflood.

Force Carbonation Charts

Force carbonation charts are readily available in either metric or imperial units, mostly the latter. The problem was, I use Celcius, and my regulator is in psi. This was a quick solution to the problem.
