I've finally found some time to update my website. I've been busy with other things, and generally have put most of my web-development time into my other website Snow-Reports.ca.
The latest incarnation of my blog uses the Python based Pelican to power static generation of pages from markdown documents. This lets me focus on the content of my posts instead of fussing around with formatting. From there, I've hosted the site on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, which allows for fast, reliable hosting of these static files.
The theme I'm using comes from Pixelarity; if you're interested in cost effective themes for your website, check them out! They offer a series of themes / templates all for $20USD (at the time of this post). I'd also like to give a shout-out to Frank; big thanks to him for posting the source code to his site on Bitbucket. This allowed me to quickly learn how to adapt themes for use with Pelican.
That's all for now - Cheers!
